About Your Web Profile

Each faculty and staff in the College of Fine and Applied Arts should have a Web presence. In addition to the Appalachian State University Directory that can be found on the ASU homepage, the College of Fine and Applied Arts hosts a directory for Faculty and Staff with their web profile information. Your technology support team creates a bare-bones profile for you when hired. This bare-bones profile includes your name, rank, and department. You will need to login and add information as you see fit. It is your responsibility to keep up with your digital identity. You can view your faculty web profile in the FAA Directory.

If you have not yet been given a web profile please submit a request for one.

Editing Your Web Profile

1. To edit your web profile, click on the link in the "Login" box located in the left pane of every page on the Fine and Applied Arts website.
   
   
    
2. From the login page, login with your University username and password.
3. Once you are logged in, you can navigate to the Fine and Applied Arts Directory (a link to the directory can also be found in the "Resources" box in the left pane of every page on the Fine and Applied Arts website.
4. From the directory, click on your name to get to your profile.
   
   
    
5. Now that you are looking at your profile page, you should see an "Edit" tab just under the title of the page. Click "Edit" and you can edit your profile.
   
   

Once in the form you will notice that certain fields are required. Please submit as much accurate information as you can or feel comfortable with for your web presence. If you have questions about your entries, please do not submit false information, rather contact your department administrator. If you necessitate help from tech support with editing your web profile, please submit a request. 

When finished making changes make sure to click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
